Northaw and Cuffley have a number of venues that are used by the community. Not all of these are associated with the Parish Council. A number of halls are listed below, and shown on the map along with their contact details if you wish to make an enquiry. The map below is interactive, you can zoom in and out and pan left to right. Cuffley and Northaw Youth and Community Centre

This building houses the Cuffley Day Care Centre and facilities for hire from nursery groups to the over fifties.

The building is owned by the Parish Council and rented to the charity who use it at a nominal rent.

The Kidston Institute

The Kidston Institute in Northaw was built in 1902 with money provided by Mrs. John Kidston whose husband had died in 1894. She intended it as a ‘social meeting place for men’. It is endowed for £1000 which must revert to the Church if it fails. Today it has snooker tables in constant use and there is a very successful Table Tennis section with players of national standard.

Cuffley Hall

Situated in Maynards Place, the facilities include a large hall with stage, a smaller hall and a foyer. It is home to quite a few clubs for weekly and monthly meetings. It is a registered charity for the benefit of the local community. The property is owned by the Parish Council on behalf of the local residents, operated as a Charitable Organisation by an elected committee, which includes a Parish Councillor.

Northaw Village Hall

Northaw Village Hall is a completely self-sufficient unsubsidised charitable organisation that is run by a dedicated team of volunteers. It can cater for up to 100/120 guests in the main hall which has a stage. It has a kitchen with a serving hatch directly into the hall. It has weekly and monthly group meetings.
